We’re looking for a full-time, permanent Shunter who can operate an FLT to join our team in Doncaster, working on our site where we partner with British Gypsum. You'll be working a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 1400-2200 shift.

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re offering a salary of £14.33 per hour. There is an additional payment of £2.73 per hour between 1800-0600. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

• You will be working with plaster products both by hand and using an FLT.
• Picking and assisting in loading goods in a safety-conscious environment.
• Loading and strapping vehicles and performing shunting duties if you have previous experience.
• Effective use of MHE with ongoing training available.
• Additional responsibilities may include gatehouse duties, yard duties, H&S audits, and inventory management.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Previous experience in a similar position is advantageous; previous shunting experience is desirable.
• You must have previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck and hold a valid FLT license (R.T.I.T.B or equivalent).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Metal picking/packing experience is advantageous. Shunt experience is also advantageous.
• You must be a team player and able to move heavy products by hand if needed.
