Job Description:

We’re looking for

full-time, permanent Shunter who can operate an FLT driver to join our team in Doncaster, working on our site where we partner with British Gypsum. You'll work a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 14:00-22:00 shift.

Pay, benefits, and more:

We’re offering a salary of £14.33 per hour. There is an additional payment of £2.73 per hour between 18:00-06:00. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays). Benefits include high street discounts, Iceland discount card, cycle-to-work scheme, workplace pension, and other perks.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• You will work with plaster products both manually and using FLT
• Picking and assisting in loading goods in a safety-conscious environment
• Loading and strapping vehicles and shunting duties if experienced
• Effective use of MHE with ongoing training available
• Other duties may include gatehouse, yard duties, H&S audits, inventory

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Previous experience in a similar role and shunting experience is desirable
• In-date Counterbalance Forklift Truck license (R.T.I.T.B or equivalent)
• Excellent communication skills
• Metal picking/packing and shunt experience advantageous
• Ability to work in a team and move heavy products manually if needed
