We’re looking for a full-time, permanent Shunter who can operate an FLT to join our team in Doncaster, working on our site where we partner with British Gypsum. You'll be working a minimum of 40 hours per week on the Monday-Friday 1400-2200 shift.

Pay, benefits, and more:

We’re offering a salary of £14.33 per hour. Additionally, there is an extra payment of £2.73 per hour between 1800-0600. We also offer 25 days of holiday (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

• You will be working with plaster products both manually and using an FLT.
• Picking and assisting in loading goods in a safety-conscious environment.
• Loading and strapping vehicles, and shunting duties if you have previous experience.
• Effective use of MHE with ongoing training available.
• Additional roles may include gatehouse duties, yard duties, H&S audits, and inventory management.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, as well as shunting experience.
• You must have previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck and hold a valid FLT Licence (R.T.I.T.B or equivalent).
• Experience in metal picking/packing is advantageous. Shunt experience is also beneficial.
• You must be a team player and able to move heavy products manually if needed.
