Job summary

Driver Hire Crewe are recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance & Reach Truck Driver to join a well-established manufacturing business in Crewe. This is a stable, full-time night shift position with the potential to secure permanent employment.

You will operate both Counterbalance and Reach trucks in a busy warehouse, loading/unloading stock and supporting daily operations while maintaining safety and organisation.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT Counterbalance certificate.
• Valid FLT Reach Truck certificate.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• Experience operating both Counterbalance and Reach trucks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating Counterbalance and Reach forklift trucks.
• Loading, unloading and moving stock around the warehouse.
• Supporting daily warehouse operations and ensuring goods are stored correctly.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Following all company health and safety procedures.

Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour, increasing to £14.97 after 12 weeks

Hours: Monday to Friday, 22:00 - 06:00

Driver Hire Crewe are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance & Reach Truck Driver to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Crewe.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and experienced FLT driver looking for a stable, full-time night shift position with the opportunity to secure permanent employment.

The successful candidate must be confident operating both Counterbalance and Reach trucks within a busy warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operating Counterbalance and Reach forklift trucks.
• Loading, unloading and moving stock around the warehouse.
• Supporting daily warehouse operations and ensuring goods are stored correctly.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Following all company health and safety procedures.

Essential Requirements

• Valid FLT Counterbalance certificate.
• Valid FLT Reach Truck certificate.
• Both FLT certificates must be in date and issued by an external, recognised training provider. In-house training certificates will not be accepted.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• Previous practical experience operating both Counterbalance and Reach trucks.
• Reliable, punctual and comfortable working permanent night shifts.

Pay & Benefits

• £14.00 per hour for the first 12 weeks.
• £14.97 per hour after 12 weeks.
• Monday to Friday - no weekend shifts.
• Consistent working hours, 22:00 - 06:0
• Temporary-to-permanent opportunity.
