Job summary

Jdr Recruitment is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative with FLT and Reach Truck experience for a food manufacturing site in the Greater Manchester area. The role focuses on safe material movement, timely supply to production lines and correct dispatch of finished goods.

You'll hold a valid FLT counterbalance and reach truck license, with GMP, Health & Safety and Food Safety knowledge. Shift pattern is Monday to Friday with 6:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00 rotations.

Qualifications

• FLT driving and Reach Truck experience required.
• Knowledge of GMP, Health & Safety, and Food Safety needed.
• Experience in a Food Manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate FLT counterbalance and reach trucks to move materials around the site.
• Receive, check and store incoming raw ingredients and packaging materials.
• Supply production lines with raw ingredients and packaging on a just-in-time basis to support production schedules.
• Load finished products ready for onward transportation and dispatch.
• Complete all warehouse activities in line with food safety, hygiene and health and safety requirements.
• Accurately complete relevant documentation, stock records and paperwork.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Work closely with warehouse colleagues, production teams, team leaders and other key stakeholders.
• Adapt to changing business requirements and support other warehouse activities when needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, efficiency and working practices.

FLT Driver - Loading, Unloading & Goods Movement

We are currently looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative with FLT and Reach Truck experience to join our Warehouse team. You must hold a valid FLT counterbalance and reach trucks ideally within a Food Manufacturing environment.

Understanding of GMP, Health & Safety, and Food Safety is vital.

The Warehouse team plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of raw ingredients, packaging materials and finished goods throughout the site.

Working on a Monday-to-Friday rotating shift pattern of 6:00am-2:00pm and 2:00pm-10:00pm, you will be responsible for the safe and timely movement of materials, ensuring production lines are supplied with the resources they need and finished products are ready for dispatch.
