Job summary

AllPro Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced FLT Driver / General Operative for a busy Stoke-on-Trent site. The role combines forklift driving with general operative duties in a varied, hands-on environment, with a 40-hour week and rotating shifts.

You will operate a forklift safely, load and move materials, support production, carry out basic checks and keep the working area clean and organised, collaborating with colleagues to hit daily targets.

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Rotating Days, Noons & Nights

Employment: Full-Time, Permanent

The Opportunity

Our client, a well-established business based in Stoke-on-Trent, is looking to recruit an experienced FLT Driver / General Operative to join their busy operation.

This is a varied, hands-on position combining FLT driving with general operative duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a role where no two shifts are quite the same.

The Role

Working as part of an established operational team, your duties will include:

• Operating a Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Loading, unloading and moving materials around the site
• Transporting stock and materials to designated areas
• Carrying out general operative and production duties
• Manual handling and movement of materials where required
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Completing basic checks and following site procedures
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure daily operational targets are achieved??
