Job summary

Grandma Wild's in Steeton is seeking an experienced FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our warehouse, logistics and production support team. This permanent, full-time role focuses on safe forklift operation, stock control, goods inwards and dispatch activities to keep materials moving efficiently.

You will work closely with colleagues on a busy site, ensuring accuracy, timely deliveries and compliance with safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or production environment is required or highly desirable.
• Valid Pivot Steer and Counterbalance FLT licences are essential.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling and records.
• Good organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate Pivot Steer and Counterbalance forklift trucks safely and efficiently.
• Receive deliveries and locate stock within the warehouse.
• Supply materials and stock to production areas as required.
• Record all stock movements accurately on the company system.
• Maintain stock accuracy and ensure stock records match physical counts.
• Support goods inwards and outbound deliveries.
• Maintain warehouse organisation, housekeeping and safety standards.
• Follow company quality procedures, waste management and recycling processes.
• Assist with stock checks and stock takes.
• Support general warehouse and production-related activities as needed.

Salary: circa £30,000 dependent on skills and experience + overtime available

Location: Steeton, BD20

Hours: Monday to Friday + Saturday overtime when required

We are looking for an experienced FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our warehouse, logistics and production support team in Steeton.

This is a varied, hands‑on role within a busy manufacturing environment where you will be responsible for forklift operations, stock control, goods inwards, dispatch activities, material handling and warehouse support. You will play a key role in ensuring materials, components and finished goods move efficiently throughout the business.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a busy team, takes pride in maintaining high standards and can adapt to the changing demands of a manufacturing environment.

The Role

Working closely with warehouse and production colleagues, you will be responsible for the safe movement, storage and control of materials across site, helping to ensure production operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Your Duties Will Include

• Operating Pivot Steer and Counterbalance forklift trucks safely and efficiently
