Job summary

Manpower are seeking an experienced FLT / Counterbalance Driver to join a busy warehouse team. The role covers the safe movement of goods, loading and unloading vehicles, and supporting day-to-day site operations with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Counterbalance FLT licence with at least 1 year of driving experience in warehousing or logistics. The position is full-time with regular overtime available and a straightforward Monday–Friday schedule.

Job description

Manpower are seeking an experienced FLT / Counterbalance Driver to join a busy and growing business. This would suit an individual looking for stable, full-time employment with regular overtime opportunities.

Working as part of the warehouse and operations team, you will be responsible for the safe movement of goods, loading and unloading vehicles, and supporting the day-to-day running of the site while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Salary: £13.61 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Moving stock and materials throughout the warehouse and yard
• Stacking and storing products in designated locations
• Assisting with goods-in and goods-out processes
• Carrying out routine vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Supporting colleagues to achieve daily operational targets
• Adhering to all company health and safety procedures

About You

• Hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence
• A minimum of 1 year's Counterbalance driving experience
• Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Good attention to detail and safety standards
• Excellent reliability and punctuality
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
• Minimum 1 year of Counterbalance FLT experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties when required
• Flexibility to work overtime when available
