Job summary

Catering is seeking a motivated FLT Driver to join our warehouse team in Liverpool. You will operate forklift trucks to load, unload, and transport materials, participate in shipping/receiving, and maintain accurate inventory records.

A focus on safety, efficiency, and accuracy is essential in this fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The role offers multiple shifts across 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am, with a pay rate of £14 per hour.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating forklift trucks in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and troubleshooting minor issues.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment to load and unload materials with precision and care
• Handle materials efficiently, ensuring accurate placement and storage within designated areas
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or notify maintenance for mechanical issues
• Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accurately
• Assist with materials handling tasks, including stacking, organizing, and preparing goods for shipment or storage
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times
