Pertemps Bond is seeking a reliable forklift driver for its Birmingham warehouse, operating in a fast-paced, independent role with calm and proactive handling. The position starts immediately and offers a temp-to-perm pathway, with full training and a handover period.

The role requires a valid Reach and Counterbalance forklift licence, a clean UK driving licence, strong English, and a proactive, professional approach to customers and colleagues.

Qualificações

• Valid forklift licence (Reach and Counterbalance).
• Full, clean UK driving licence, to permit you to operate the company van.
• Experience in a fast-moving warehouse environment.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Trustworthy and able to work with minimal supervision.

• Courteous and professional when dealing with customers.

Responsabilidades

• Following written procedures for safe working and standard operating practices.
• Order picking within an 8,000 sq ft warehouse (approximately 200 picks per day).
• Booking in stock and putting away.
• Transporting stock between manufacturing and warehouse facilities.
• Stock taking and inventory control.
• Re-boxing and weighing smaller orders.
• Booking in returned products.
• Goods inwards: unloading and storing raw materials.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping.

The successful candidate will be calm, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Following written procedures for safe working and standard operating practices
• Order picking within an 8,000 sq ft warehouse (approximately 200 picks per day)
• Booking in stock and putting away
• Transporting stock between manufacturing and warehouse facilities
• Stock taking and inventory control
• Re-boxing and weighing smaller orders
• Booking in returned products
• Goods inwards: unloading and storing raw materials
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping

Essential Requirements

What's on Offer

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
• Friday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
• £13.50 - £14.00 per hour with annual salary reviews
