Two shift options with rotating weeks; pay £14.38–£14.84 per hour; temporary-to-permanent contract with training and progression opportunities.
Westray Recruitment is recruiting experienced FLT Operatives to join a busy warehouse and logistics operation in Billingham.
These temporary-to-permanent opportunities require candidates with a valid, externally accredited Counterbalance FLT licence. Successful candidates will support warehouse operations through the safe movement of stock, loading and unloading, pallet handling, order preparation and general operational duties.
Depending on the department and shift pattern, the work may range from straightforward FLT and handheld-scanner duties to more physically demanding tasks involving manual handling and the operation of specialist machinery.
The employer places considerable importance on training, experience, safety and staff retention. All applicants will attend a meet-and-greet interview before starting, and full, honest CVs are required.

Monday to Friday, rotating weekly:
This area of the operation involves heavier manual work and the use of specialist machinery. New starters will learn the machinery, processes and warehouse layout before progressing to regular FLT duties. The environment can be congested, so strong safety awareness is essential.
This area primarily involves operating a Counterbalance FLT, using handheld scanners and carrying out general pallet-handling duties.
