Job summary

Smart 1 Recruitment Limited is sourcing an FLT Driver for a well established temperature-controlled storage and distribution operation in Wolverhampton. Prior experience with FLT is required, and PPT (pallet) truck experience is desirable.

The role is temporary to permanent with a 2pm–10pm, Monday to Friday schedule, offering £14 per hour and free car parking. Duties include unloading/loading, checking deliveries, stocking, preparing orders, and monitoring inventory.

• Reach truck and/or Counterbalance licence.

Responsibilities

• Un-loading vehicles, which includes checking off deliveries to the store
• Ensuring all goods are stored correctly in a timely manner
• Loading vehicles, checking the correct stock has been prepared for outload
• Ensuring products are adequately shrink-wrapped and re-wrapped where necessary
• Preparing orders
• Monitoring inventory by completing counts/checks as required

Job description

Well established temperature-controlled storage and distribution organisation requires a FLT Driver to join their expanding team in Wolverhampton.

Previous experience operating PPT truck is desirable for the position of FLT Driver. Withing this role you will be offered free car parking and competitive rates of pay. Offered on a temporary to permanent position, this role of FLT Driver is available for immediate starts.

Duties of FLT Driver:

• Un-loading vehicles, which includes checking off deliveries to the store
• Ensuring all goods are stored correctly in a timely manner
• Loading vehicles, checking the correct stock has been prepared for outload
• Ensuring products are adequately shrink-wrapped and re-wrapped where necessary
• Preparing orders
• Monitoring inventory by completing counts/checks as required
