Job summary

Kinetic plc is recruiting a FLT Driver for long-term temporary contracts in Wallsend. You must hold a valid forklift licence (C/B and/or Reach) and be able to provide certification. We have roles available on a 2 shift and nightshift pattern.

£14.97 per hour (2 shift) £17.17 per hour (night) 38 hours per week. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, operating forklifts, securing goods, maintaining a clean work area, following SOPs, assisting with stock counts, and collaborating with the team

Qualifications

• Valid Forklift Truck Licence (C/B and/or Reach)
• Experience using an FLT
• Previous experience loading and unloading heavy goods and materials
• Please only apply if you have a valid FLT licence.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring products are loaded onto or unloaded from machines, trucks, or containers accurately and efficiently.
• Operating and monitoring forklifts to move goods.
• Handling and moving goods, ensuring they are properly secured during transport.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area around machines and loading areas.
• Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
• Assisting with inventory counts and ensuring accurate stock levels.
• Working with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
