Job summary

Aqumen Business Solutions Ltd is seeking a Flt Driver for Wakefield (WF1). The role is full-time, temporary, on-site with a fixed day shift, Monday–Friday, 6am–2pm. Salary is £13.89 per hour.

You will join a busy warehouse team to assemble, scan and load orders safely, leveraging a FLT Counterbalance to move stock and support loading. Ensure despatch accuracy and maintain orderly despatch areas.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with a right-first-time approach.
• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and load orders safely and in the correct sequence.
• Counterbalance FLT to move stock and support loading.
• Follow loading and scanning procedures.
• Check product labels, packaging and quantities.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the warehouse and loading bays.
• Liaise with Production and Shift Leaders to keep workflow on track.
• Process despatch paperwork.
• Handle returns, book into systems and organise rework or stock placement.
• Follow all Health & Safety and PPE requirements.

Our client is looking for a reliable Loading Chargehand to support their busy warehouse team. You'll be responsible for assembling, scanning and loading orders safely and accurately, keeping the despatch area organised, and working closely with production and loading teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and load orders safely and in the correct sequence
• Counterbalance FLT to move stock and support loading
• Follow all loading and scanning procedures
• Check product labels, packaging and quantities
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the warehouse and loading bays
• Liaise with Production and Shift Leaders to keep workflow on track
• Process despatch paperwork
• Handle returns, book into systems and organise rework or stock placement
• Follow all Health & Safety and PPE requirements
