Frontline Recruitment Group is recruiting an experienced FLT Driver for a full-time, permanent role at their Nottingham operation. The role involves moving, storing and dispatching goods, with a focus on safety and accuracy while supporting a busy warehouse team.

The successful candidate will hold a valid FLT licence, demonstrate forklift competence, and be reliable, punctual and flexible to assist with additional warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• This role requires previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Valid FLT licence and demonstrated forklift safety knowledge are essential.
• Ability to move, store and dispatch stock accurately while following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move, load and unload goods.
• Assist with receipt, storage, and dispatch of stock in a busy warehouse.
• Load and unload vehicles and ensure goods are handled with care.
• Move stock to correct storage locations and maintain accurate movements.
• Carry out routine equipment checks and report faults or maintenance issues.
• Follow health and safety procedures and keep the warehouse clean and organised.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily targets and support other duties as required.

Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday

Pay: £13.50

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift truck safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload goods
• Assist with the receipt, storage, and dispatch of stock
• Load and unload vehicles, ensuring goods are handled with care
• Move stock around the warehouse and place goods in the correct storage locations
• Carry out routine equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate stock movements and support general warehouse duties as requiredFollow all health and safety procedures, including safe manual handling practices
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and free from hazards
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily operational targets

Requirements

• Previous experience working as an FLT Driver within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment
• A valid, in-date FLT licence relevant to the equipment being used
• Experience operating a forklift safely and confidently
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle goods accurately
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a busy team
• Flexible and willing to assist with general warehouse duties when required
