Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Forklift Driver (Counterbalance & Reach) for an immediate start in Southampton. This temporary role with potential to become permanent offers a 8:00am–5:00pm Monday to Friday schedule and pay from £15.00 per hour, with overtime available.

Key duties include operating Counterbalance and Reach forklifts, loading and unloading deliveries, and moving carpet and flooring products while ensuring safety and accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences.
• Previous warehouse or distribution centre experience.
• Good work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work safely and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with carpet or flooring products is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance and Reach forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload deliveries.
• Pick, move, and store carpet and flooring products in the warehouse.
• Assist with stock control and replenishment.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Pay: From £15.00 per hour (overtime available)

• Operating Counterbalance and Reach forklifts safely and efficiently.

• Picking, moving, and storing carpet and flooring products within the warehouse.
• Assisting with stock control and replenishment.
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
