Job summary

CDM Recruitment Ltd in Peterlee is seeking an experienced FLT Driver for a temporary assignment starting in November. The role covers Counterbalance and Reach forklifts, with PAYE pay rate of £16.66 per hour and standard hours 8:00am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

You must hold valid Counterbalance up to 5 tonnes and Reach up to 2 tonnes certificates and demonstrate reliable, safety-conscious work and ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT certificates for Counterbalance up to 5 tonnes and Reach up to 2 tonnes are required.
• Experience operating both FLTs on-site is essential.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious with good teamwork.

FLT Driver – Counterbalance & Reach

Location: Peterlee

Pay Rate: £16.66 per hour PAYE

Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

Start Date: Beginning of November

Duration: Approximately 3 months

We are currently looking for an experienced FLT Driver for work in Peterlee, starting at the beginning of November, on a temporary assignment of approximately 3 months.

Essential Requirements

You must hold valid FLT certificates for:

• Counterbalance FLT – up to 5 tonnes
• Reach FLT – up to 2 tonnes

You must have the appropriate certification to operate FLTs at these capacities.

The Role

• Operating counterbalance FLTs up to 5 tonnes
• Operating reach FLTs up to 2 tonnes
• Loading, unloading and moving materials safely around the site
• Following all health & safety procedures and site requirements

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds valid certificates for both Counterbalance up to 5 tonnes and Reach up to 2 tonnes
• Has proven experience operating both types of FLT
• Is reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
• Has good communication and teamwork skills
• Can commit to the full assignment
