Job summary

GXO Northampton is hiring full-time, permanent FLT Drivers to join our新 Savers site in Swan Valley. You will unload, receive, put-away and support picking operations, keeping products moving safely and efficiently.

Shifts are Monday to Friday for Week 1 and Sunday to Thursday for Week 2, 14:00–22:00, 40 hours per week, with various benefits and pension. You will operate MHE safely and follow SOPs to meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• Previous FLT operating experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is beneficial.
• Reach Truck training available for candidates looking to develop MHE skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate MHE equipment safely and efficiently to support warehouse operations.
• Support goods-in, goods-out and stock control activities using the WMS.
• Work to daily productivity, service and accuracy targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area and report hazards.

Here at GXO Northampton, we are currently recruiting for full-time, permanent FLT Drivers to join our team in Swan Valley, supporting our new and exciting Savers site! From unloading and receiving stock to put-away, replenishment and supporting picking operations, you'll play a key role in keeping products moving safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse while helping to deliver an excellent service to our customer.

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on a two-week pattern:

• Week 1 - Monday to Friday
• Week 2 - Sunday to Thursday

covering the hours of 14:00 to 22:00, contracted to 40 hours per week.

What you'll do on a typical day

• Operate MHE equipment safely and efficiently to support warehouse operations, ensuring all activities are completed in line with site procedures and safety standards
• Support goods-in, goods-out and stock control activities using the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including unloading, put-away, replenishment, picking and dispatch operations
• Work efficiently and flexibly to achieve daily productivity, service and accuracy targets, both independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced distribution centre environment
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area by following all Health & Safety procedures, Safe Systems of Work and Standard Operating Procedures, while proactively reporting hazards and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

What you need to succeed at GXO

• Previous FLT operating experience within a warehouse or logistics environment is beneficial, with Reach Truck training available for candidates looking to develop additional MHE skills
• A self-motivated and reliable approach, with the ability to work honestly and with integrity at all times
• The ability to work safely and accurately, following processes and SOPs with a strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset
• Strong communication skills and a professional, positive attitude, with the confidence to work both independently and as part of a team
