Job summary

Stafforce Ports are recruiting Forklift Drivers for a busy operation at Immingham Docks. You will operate Telehandlers and Counterbalance forklifts, loading, unloading and moving goods across the site, while upholding safety and QA standards.

Shifts are 12 hours, day and night, with a night shift premium of £2.00 per hour. Pay rates range from £12.71 to £13.21 per hour plus night premium, with weekly pay and opportunities for long-term employment.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence/certification.
• Experience operating telehandlers and forklifts in industrial/port environments.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible to day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate Telehandlers and Counterbalance Forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles, trailers, and storage areas.
• Transport products and materials across the site.
• Support stock control and inventory activities.
• Conduct daily pre-use equipment inspections and report defects.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety.
• Assist with general operational duties as required.

• Trainee Rate: £12.71 per hour
• Intermediate Rate: £13.21 per hour
• Night Shift Premium: Additional £2.00 per hour for all hours worked on night shifts

Stafforce Ports are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established company operating at Immingham Docks. We are seeking reliable and hardworking Forklift Drivers to join a busy port operation, supporting the movement and handling of bulk materials and products across the site.

The Role

As a Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation, ensuring materials are transported safely and efficiently while supporting warehouse, yard, and loading activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Telehandlers and Counterbalance Forklifts safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles, trailers, and storage areas
• Transporting products and materials across the site
• Supporting stock control and inventory activities
• Conducting daily pre-use equipment inspections and reporting defects
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety
• Assisting with general operational duties as required

What We're Looking For

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence/certification
• Previous experience operating Telehandlers and Forklifts in an industrial, warehouse, or port environment
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible approach to working both day and night shifts
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high standards of work
