Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is recruiting for Telehandler & Forklift Drivers at Immingham Docks. You will operate telehandlers and forklifts, assisting with loading, unloading and movement of bulk materials across the site.

The role requires valid licences, a good safety record, and the ability to work day and night shifts in a busy port environment. This is a full-time position with weekly pay and ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Telehandler licence/certification.
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence/certification.
• Experience operating telehandlers and forklifts in industrial/port environments.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate Telehandlers and Counterbalance Forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles, trailers and storage areas.
• Transport products and materials across the site.
• Support stock control and inventory activities.
• Conduct daily pre-use inspections and report defects.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety.

Telehandler & Forklift Driver

Location: Immingham Docks
Pay Rate: £12.71 - £13.21 per hour + Night Shift Premium
Hours: 12-Hour Day & Night Shifts (06:00 - 18:00 / 18:00 - 06:00)
Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Rates

• Trainee Rate: £12.71 per hour
• Intermediate Rate: £13.21 per hour
• Night Shift Premium: Additional £2.00 per hour for all hours worked on night shifts

Stafforce Ports are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established company operating at Immingham Docks. We are seeking reliable and hardworking Telehandler & Forklift Drivers to join a busy port operation, supporting the movement and handling of bulk materials and products across the site.

The Role

As a Telehandler & Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation, ensuring materials are transported safely and efficiently while supporting warehouse, yard, and loading activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Telehandlers and Counterbalance Forklifts safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles, trailers, and storage areas
• Transporting products and materials across the site
• Supporting stock control and inventory activities
• Conducting daily pre-use equipment inspections and reporting defects
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety
• Assisting with general operational duties as required

What We're Looking For

• Valid Telehandler licence/certification
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence/certification
• Previous experience operating Telehandlers and Forklifts in an industrial, warehouse, or port environment
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible approach to working both day and night shifts
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high standards of work
