Job summary

Reynolds Food Group is seeking a reliable Night Warehouse & FLT Operative to support our busy night operation in Bristol. You will operate a Counterbalance Forklift, transfer freight into multi-drop vehicles, and perform general warehouse duties to ensure on-time deliveries.

Applicants must hold a valid FLT licence and a full UK driving licence. Previous warehouse experience and basic Excel skills are also required, with opportunities for ongoing training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (essential).
• Full UK driving licence (essential) as you may need to undertake emergency deliveries.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
• Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the pace and standards of performance within the Warehouse.
• Picking products to route level from mixed pallets.
• Completion of relevant paperwork.
• Checking of products for Quality and Quantity issues.
• Manual handling - picking up goods weighing up to 25kg (training provided).
• Provide an efficient, friendly service to create a customer focused environment.
• Complete and return all Company and customer paperwork to required standards.
• Adhere to Company Policy on hygiene, presentation, health and safety and housekeeping.
• Maintain Company Security policy and report incidents to Senior Management.

Salary: £34,000

Weekly Hours: 48 hours per week

Week 1: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights

Days off: Monday and Saturday nights

Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights

Days off: Wednesday and Saturday nights

The Role

We're looking for a reliable and motivated Night Warehouse & FLT Operative to support our busy night operation in Bristol. You'll be responsible for operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck, transferring freight from trunk vehicles into multi-drop delivery vehicles, and carrying out general warehouse duties to ensure deliveries are prepared accurately and on time.

While this is primarily a warehouse-based role, there may be occasions where you'll be required to complete emergency customer deliveries to support the operation, so a full UK driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role

• Maintain the pace and standards of performance within the Warehouse.
• Picking products to route level from mixed pallets.
• Completion of relevant paperwork.
• Checking of products for Quality and Quantity issues.
• Manual handling - picking up goods weighing up to 25kg (full training provided).
• Provide an efficient, friendly service at all times to create and maintain a customer focused environment.
• Complete and return of all Company and customer paperwork to the required standard.
• Adhere with Company Policy in relation to personal hygiene, personal presentation, health and safety and housekeeping always.
• Maintaining Company Security policy, ensuring that any incidents are reported to Senior Management.

To be successful in your application, you will need to demonstrate/possess the below skills, experience, and qualities

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (essential).
• Full UK driving licence (essential), as you may be required to undertake emergency customer deliveries when operational needs require.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
• Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
