Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of our client in Stalybridge for a FLT Counterbalance Driver / Yard Operative to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a busy environment where no two days are the same.

Full training will be provided; working hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. Pay is £14.47 per hour with overtime paid at time and a half after 7.5 hours per day.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Experience in yard environment is desirable.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles using a Counterbalance FLT.
• Work outdoors within the yard environment.
• Sort materials and identify recyclable items.
• Pack and unpack materials.
• Assist with material handling and stock movement.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Support the wider yard operation as required.
