Job summary

Siamo Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a busy distribution centre in Birmingham (B37). The night shift offers 19:00-03:30, 20:00-04:30 or 21:00-05:30 with pay of £15.53 per hour.

Responsibilities include operating a Counterbalance forklift safely, moving stock, loading/unloading vehicles, and keeping the warehouse tidy while following health and safety procedures. Inductions are scheduled Thursday and Friday morning.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance FLT accreditation.
• Have 2 years experience operating a Counterbalance FLT.
• Be reliable and able to commit to the chosen shift pattern.
• Have a good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
• Able to work as part of a team as well as independently.

We are currently recruiting for experienced FLT Counterbalance Drivers to join a busy distribution centre based in Birmingham, B37.

Day shift:

• Monday to Friday
• 3 SHIFTS AVAILABLE: 19:00 - 03:30
• 20:00 - 04:30
• 21:00 - 05:30

£15.53 per hour

The Role

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Moving stock and pallets around the warehouse
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Transporting goods to designated areas
• Supporting with general warehouse duties where required
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Keeping the working area clean and organised

Requirements

• Hold a valid and in-date RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance FLT accreditation
• Have 2 years experience operating a Counterbalance FLT
• Be reliable and able to commit to the chosen shift pattern
• Have a good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
• Be able to work as part of a team as well as independently

Inductions will be taking place on Thursday and Friday morning, so successful candidates must be available to attend.
