Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) is recruiting FLT Counterbalance Drivers for a Leeds-based operation. You will operate a counterbalance forklift to pick items onto pallets, unload/deload drays, replenish stock and support inventory checks, working closely with Warehouse and Office teams.

The role requires a valid FLT Counterbalance licence, details-oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team on 12-hour shifts across days and nights, with weekend coverage and health & safety commitment.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence, preferably RTITB or ITSSAR accredited.
• A positive attitude and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Good organisational skills and a proactive approach
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
• Experience in a similar packing or warehouse role is essential.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• A commitment to health and safety standards

Job description

LT Counterbalance Driver Location: Leeds, LS13 4HT Pay rate: £13.74 per hour Contract: Temp with the possibility of going perm Shifts: 12-hour shifts covering days, nights, and weekends (06:00-18:00 and 18:00-06:00), with additional shifts available on scheduled days off.

We are looking for FLT Counterbalance Drivers to work on behalf of our client in Leeds. As a FLT Driver, you will play a vital role in using prebuilt systems to pick items onto pallets for customers. Ensuring accuracy and time management, while maintaining high standards of quality and service. Working as part of a team of warehouse operatives and reporting to your Line Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Warehouse and Office teams to ensure the smooth running of the operation and the achievement of overall site objectives.

What you'll be doing:
