Job summary

Pertemps Bond Trafford Park is seeking an experienced FLT Driver for ad hoc shifts at a fast-paced warehouse. The role requires a valid counterbalance FLT licence and previous warehouse experience. Shifts are typically 1–2 days per week, Monday to Wednesday, 7:00am–7:00pm, with a pay rate of £14.33 per hour.

You will load/unload, move stock, pick/pack orders, and perform safety checks in a safe working environment. Training may be provided for double pallet forklift usage.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance FLT licence is essential.
• Experience in a warehouse environment with counterbalance trucks.
• Experience operating a double pallet forklift is preferred; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate counterbalance forklifts and other MHE.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Move and organise stock within the warehouse.
• Operate double pallet forklifts where required.
• Pick, pack and stage customer orders.
• Complete routine forklift and equipment safety checks.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Follow all company health & safety procedures.
• Ensure stock is handled accurately and safely at all times.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join a major logistics supplier based in Trafford Park.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced forklift driver looking for flexible, ad hoc work within a fast-paced warehouse environment. There is also the potential for a long-term position following a successful temporary period.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate counterbalance forklifts and other MHE.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Move and organise stock within the warehouse.
• Operate double pallet forklifts where required.
• Pick, pack and stage customer orders.
• Complete routine forklift and equipment safety checks.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.

What We're Looking For

• Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence – Essential
• Previous warehouse and counterbalance experience.
• Experience operating a double pallet forklift is preferred, although training may be provided.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Shift & Break Information

Working hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm Shifts: Ad hoc, typically 1–2 days per week between Monday to Wednesday. Breaks: 75 minutes total — 3 × 15-minute breaks and 1 × 30-minute break.
