Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is currently recruiting for a Forklift Counterbalance Operative to work on an ongoing basis at Normanton (WF6 1RW). The role offers dayshift hours from 16:30 to 02:30, with weekly pay and a clear path to permanence for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for offloading, sorting, and routing goods, ensuring accurate documentation, and loading pallets onto delivery vehicles. A valid FLT licence and strong health & safety practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Valid Forklift Truck licence.

Responsibilities

• Offload and check all inbound/outbound goods, including scanning and locating items in designated warehouse locations.
• Sequence goods into delivery routes.
• Verify goods against dispatch documentation, ensuring product codes and quantities are correct.
• Load goods and pallets onto delivery vehicles (Rigids/Artics).
• Assist with any other reasonable requests from management.

Manpower has an exciting opportunity to recruit a Forklift Counterbalance Operative to work on an ongoing basis with the potential of going permanent.

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport.
