Job summary

Ornua Foods in Leek is seeking three experienced FLT Counterbalance Drivers on a rotating shift pattern (6-2 / 2-10) for a temp-to-perm opportunity. You will safely move stock, support production, and carry out pre‑use checks, ensuring a smooth running of operations.

A valid Counterbalance B1 licence and at least two years’ experience are required. The role offers £14.03 per hour plus enhanced overtime, weekly pay, and on-site facilities including canteen and parking for a supportive team

• Valid accredited Counterbalance (B1) licence (in‑house considered with strong experience).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced or production environment.
• Strong attention to detail; organised, methodical and safety‑focused.

Responsibilities

• Safely moving stock and materials using a Counterbalance FLT.
• Supporting production areas with stock movement, labelling, and general duties.
• Maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
• Carrying out pre‑use safety checks.
• Completing essential paperwork accurately.
• Assisting wider operations when required.

You’ll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly in a fast-paced, well-organised environment. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll spend time both on and off the truck.
