Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Worksop is seeking a Wave & Allocation Clerk to help ensure orders move smoothly, allocating stock and coordinating workloads across shifts. The role is based at Manton Wood with early and late shift rotations.

The successful candidate will be organized, detail-focused and capable of using warehouse systems and Excel to monitor progress, adapt plans and support operational teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Organised, detail-focused with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Comfortable using warehouse systems and data to inform decisions.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills; SAP experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Review and prioritise customer orders based on operational requirements and deadlines.
• Allocate stock and release waves of work to support picking efficiency.
• Monitor orders through picking, packing and dispatch, adjusting plans as priorities change.
• Communicate workload, priorities and potential issues with the operational teams.
• Produce operational reports and KPI updates with accurate information in warehouse systems.

Location: Manton Wood, Worksop

If you're highly organised, confident working with systems and enjoy being at the heart of a busy warehouse operation, this could be a great opportunity. As a Wave & Allocation Clerk, you'll play an important role in keeping customer orders moving, ensuring stock and workload are allocated effectively and work is released to operational teams at the right time.

You'll balance changing priorities, monitor progress and work closely with operational teams to help keep everything on track. It's a role where attention to detail, problem-solving and confident decision-making can make a real difference to daily performance.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Reviewing and prioritising customer orders based on operational requirements and shipping deadlines.
• Allocating stock and releasing waves of work to ensure picking activity flows efficiently.
• Monitoring orders through picking, packing and dispatch, adjusting plans when priorities change.
• Working closely the operational team to communicate workload, priorities and potential issues.
• Producing operational reports and KPI updates while maintaining accurate information within warehouse systems.
