Job summary

Dŵr Cymru is seeking a Flow Technician to lead the Operational Catchment team and drive improved Flow compliance. You will be the main contact for Flow escalations across the catchment, ensuring adherence to Flow Pass Forward and tracking issues with maintenance and telemetry.

Qualified candidates will have hydraulics/engineering background, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a willingness to travel as required. Collaboration with ORC, EDM, and Storm Harvester is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in hydraulics or engineering.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence others.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
• Experience with wastewater or sludge treatment processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Operational Catchment team to improve Flow-related compliance.
• Be the primary point of contact for Flow escalations and alarms.
• Investigate root causes of Flow non-compliance and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other teams on maintenance and telemetry.
• Review Flow-related alarms and intervene to prevent non-compliance.
• Track corrective actions and report Flow compliance across the catchment.
• Lead Flow communications to front-line operations and new starters.
• Collaborate with ORC, EDM, Storm Harvester, and Asset Flow teams.
