Sterling Home is now searching for a Flooring Salesperson to join our dynamic team at the Dunfermline store. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to help create exceptional customer experiences.

No prior retail experience? No problem! All you need is a positive attitude and a willingness to learn!

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for all things flooring, guiding customers through their options and helping them choose the perfect fit for their home.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sell a range of carpets and flooring products
- Provide accurate estimates based on dimensions from our estimator
- Handle all sales-related documentation
- Communicate with customers face-to-face, via phone, and email
- Support other sales departments when needed
- Recommend and up-sell additional products

What We’re Looking For:

- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Ability to confidently "close the sale"
- High-level literacy, numeracy, negotiation, and communication skills
- Understanding of both metric and imperial measurements
- Proficiency in using IT sales system
- A natural ‘people person’
- Sales-driven with a team-first mentality
- A positive, can-do attitude with a calm and polite demeanour
- Reliable and capable of managing multiple tasks at once
