Job summary

Lineage Logistics Holding LLC is seeking a Floor Trainer for our Belle Eau Park depot in Bilsthorpe. The role supports the training and compliance team, delivering sessions on health and safety, food safety, SSOW, and MHE.

You will monitor employee performance, update procedures, and maintain training records while collaborating with the management team. A 24/7 operation requires shift flexibility and cross-site UK work when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering workplace training in a logistics or warehousing environment.
• Ability to interpret and update HS procedures and working practices.
• Proactive coaching to promote a safety‑first culture.

Responsibilities

• Support Training Coordinator to ensure employees receive required training.
• Deliver training sessions on HS, FS, SSOW, Manual Handling, MHE.
• Monitor on‑the‑floor performance for safety and compliance.
• Review and update HS procedures and working practices.
• Maintain site training matrix and records for compliance.
• Assist investigations from a training perspective after incidents.
• Work across UK sites as required.
• Utilise LMS and MS Office for training delivery and records.

Job description

We are currently seeking a Floor Trainer to support our operational training and compliance team at our Belle Eau Park depot in Bilsthorpe Nottinghamshire. Shift Available: Sunday - Thursday 16:00-00:00 (shift pattern flexibility is a must for this role because we are a 24/7 operation). The role: In this role you will:

• Support and assist the Training Coordinator to ensure all employees receive the required training for their roles, complete with up-to-date materials and in alignment with organisational and regulatory standards.
• Deliver training sessions across key areas including Health & Safety (HS), Food Safety (FS), Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), Manual Handling, and Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Monitor on-the-floor employee performance, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and role‑specific responsibilities, and provide proactive coaching to promote a safety‑first culture.
• Continuously review and update role‑specific HS procedures and working practices to maintain operational efficiency and compliance.
• Maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels to ensure training remains relevant, practical, and aligned with daily tasks.
• Identify and elevate training needs and continuous improvement opportunities, supporting the development and roll‑out of new training initiatives.
• Manage and maintain the site training matrix, ensuring all training records are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with company and legal requirements.
• Assist the management team with post‑incident and near‑miss investigations from a training perspective, helping to identify root causes and implement corrective measures.
  Experience delivering workplace training in a logistics or warehousing environment, with a good understanding of operational processes and safety compliance.
• Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Excellent time management skills with a structured approach to planning, delivering, and evaluating training.
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage and motivate learners at all levels of the organisation.
• A proactive approach to mentoring and 'buddying' new team members, ensuring safe integration and a strong understanding of Lineage values and safety principles.
• A flexible mindset, with the willingness to work across different UK sites if required.
• Relevant certifications preferred, including Achievement in Education and Training (AET) Level 3 (or equivalent), RTITB or AITT‑accredited MHE Instructor (Category 1 or above), Manual Handling Instructor, and IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification; however, training can be provided for the right candidate.
