Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking an Operations Manager for the Belle Eau Park facility in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire. The role oversees night shift operations Sunday to Thursday, leading multiple departments to meet daily targets while upholding food safety and quality standards.

You will drive safety culture, manage training and documentation, coordinate maintenance, and optimise labour, space, and equipment to support KPIs and customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading and resolving operational challenges efficiently.
• Experience managing large-scale operations, preferably in warehousing or temperature-controlled logistics.
• Experience as a second-line manager with team development and performance improvement.
• Strong IT literacy and ability to manage compliance systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams and levels.

Lineage is the world's largest and most innovative provider of temperature-controlled logistics solutions.We are currently seeking an Operations Manager to lead and run our Belle Eau Park facility situated in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire.Shift Available: Sunday to Thursday (21:30 - 06:00) with a 1 hour break.Duties & Responsibilities:Lead all operational functions across shifts and departments, directing and supporting shift and department managers to achieve daily performance targets, uphold site standards, and follow procedures as set out in their job descriptions.Ensure full compliance with health and food safety standards, completing all necessary records for internal and external audits. You will be responsible for raising awareness of our food safety systems (HACCP) and ensuring best practices are followed throughout the site.Promote a safety-first culture by ensuring that all Coldstore staff operate within the company's Health & Safety and food hygiene protocols. You'll oversee adherence to company safety codes of practice at every level.Manage training, documentation, and compliance records, ensuring that training is completed, documented, and stored in line with company and industry standards.
