Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a Floor Trainer to support our training and compliance team at our Belle Eau Park depot in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire. The role covers delivering HS, FS, SSOW, MHE training and maintaining the training matrix; you will coach on safety and ensure regulatory standards.

We expect experience in logistics training, LMS proficiency, and strong organizational skills; this is a permanent role with weekend shifts and potential cross-site work across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering workplace training in a logistics or warehousing environment.
• Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Excellent time management skills with a structured approach to planning, delivering, and evaluating training.
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage and motivate learners at all levels of the organisation.
• Proactive approach to mentoring and 'buddying' new team members, ensuring safe integration and Lineage values and safety principles.
• Flexible mindset to work across different UK sites if required.
• Relevant certifications preferred, including AET Level 3, RTITB or AITT-accredited MHE Instructor (Category 1 or above), Manual Handling Instructor, and IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification; training can be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Monitor on-the-floor performance and coach to promote safety culture.
• Review and update HS procedures and working practices for efficiency and compliance.
• Maintain relationships with employees to keep training relevant to daily tasks.
• Identify escalation training needs and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage the site training matrix and ensure records are accurate and compliant.
• Assist with post-incident investigations from a training perspective.

We are currently seeking a Floor Trainer to support our operational training and compliance team at our Belle Eau Park depot in Bilsthorpe Nottinghamshire.

Shift Available: Sunday - Thursday 16:00-00:00 (shift pattern flexibility is a must for this role because we are a 24/7 operation).

The role:

In this role you will:

• Support and assist the Training Coordinator to ensure all employees receive the required training for their roles, complete with up-to-date materials and in alignment with organisational and regulatory standards.
• Deliver training sessions across key areas including Health & Safety (HS), Food Safety (FS), Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), Manual Handling, and Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Monitor on-the-floor employee performance, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and role-specific responsibilities, and provide proactive coaching to promote a safety-first culture.
• Continuously review and update role-specific HS procedures and working practices to maintain operational efficiency and compliance.
• Maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels to ensure training remains relevant, practical, and aligned with daily tasks.
• Identify and escalation training needs and continuous improvement opportunities, supporting the development and roll-out of new training initiatives.
• Manage and maintain the site training matrix, ensuring all training records are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with company and legal requirements.
• Assist the management team with post-incident and near‑miss investigations from a training perspective, helping to identify root causes and implement corrective measures.

What we are looking for:
