Job summary

Rosewood Hotel Group, Holborn Dining Room in London, seeks a Floor Manager (Paternity Cover) to lead the floor during service and drive guest satisfaction. You will support and develop the team, champion Rosewood’s values, and ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced setting.

You will act as an inspirational leader, delivering engaging briefings, managing guest requests, and upholding service standards throughout each shift. This is a pivotal role within a renowned hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Proven hospitality leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Strong guest service ethos with ability to build memorable experiences.
• Experience coaching and developing front-of-house teams.
• Ability to lead by example during peak service times.
• Understanding of health & safety and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage restaurant operations during service to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager and working closely with the Assistant General Manager, you will be part of a passionate leadership team committed to delivering exceptional hospitality, developing talent, and creating memorable guest experiences.

YOUR ROLE

As Floor Manager (Paternity Cover), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant. You will lead the floor during service, support and develop the team, and create warm, genuine guest experiences that exceed expectations. Acting as a visible and influential leader within the restaurant, you will champion Rosewood’s values and culture while driving operational excellence and guest satisfaction.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Lead and manage restaurant operations during service, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and seamless delivery of service standards.
• Inspire, coach, and develop the front-of-house team through training, mentorship, guidance, and regular feedback.
• Build strong relationships with guests, creating memorable experiences while effectively handling enquiries and resolving concerns.
• Ensure adherence to all operational procedures, service standards, company policies, and health and safety requirements.
• Drive communication across the restaurant by delivering engaging briefings and sharing key operational information with the team.
• Monitor staffing, productivity, and floor performance to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
