Job description

Loading has been mixing games and hospitality since 2010 - offering video games themed cocktails and food menu, and hundreds of board and video games to its customers as a bonus. We work closely with big names in the games industry, and are a go-to space for new title launches, community meet ups, and ice breaking dates.

Loading Brighton is located on Brighton beach by the Palace Pier, greeting the most diverse public, from game industry professionals to local nerds, families and seasonal tourists

Job Description

The Floor Manager will be:

Leading the waiting team by example, setting and demanding a high standard of customer service and making sure the venue looks the best it can at all times.

The position is for a full time contract, and ideal candidates will have:

  • The ability to manage and maintain control of bookings and walk-in guests
  • Confidence and understanding of different customers’ needs
  • Self-motivation and resourcefulness
  • Akeen attention to detail.
  • The ability to effectively manage themselves and others on busy shifts
  • Host and Floor Management
  • Direct customer service and waiting tables
  • Helping manage all aspects of service
  • Customer communication/troubleshooting
  • Swift communication, flagging any issues
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years in a similar position
  • Barista and bar training is a bonus
Additional Information
  • Starting from £13 p/h plus bonuses and share of Tronc
  • Full time, with weekend availability is a must
