Novus Property Solutions is seeking a Floor Layer to join our Responsive Repairs and Voids division, delivering high-quality floor laying across Greater Manchester and surrounding areas. You will measure, prepare surfaces and lay vinyl, carpet and carpet tiles, including cap and cove, while supporting safe, efficient work in tenants’ homes.

Competenze

• Experience in floor laying, measuring, ordering and fitting vinyl, carpet and carpet tiles.
• Self-leveling and screeding experience is a plus.
• Social Housing/domestic experience is essential.
• Working from live job tickets or handheld device is required.

Location: Site based covering Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire and on occasion Cumbria. Standard Hours Monday- Friday 39 hours plus out of hours on call.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Floor Layer to join Novus Property Solutions, Responsive Repairs and Voids division, providing high-quality floor laying within Social Housing void properties and covering on call responsive repairs when requried

An Outline Of Your Responsibilities And Experience

• Applications are welcome from experienced candidates that have a Floor Laying background. Works including but not limited to; measuring, ordering and fitting various flooring types of vinyl, carpet, carpet tiles, including cap and cove. Self-level and screeding
• Working on Void properties in the main with some Responsive Repairs in tenanted properties
• Social Housing/domestic experience is essential.
• Working from job tickets or a handheld device on a daily basis linked to a live shared system.
• Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively
• Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes
• Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards
• Floor laying qualifications are advantageous
• Candidates will also require Working at Height, Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling training. Where these certifications have expired, refresher training can be provided by Novus.
• Full UK driving license is required.
• The role will also require a DBS check to be completed
