Job summary

BRC Jobs is seeking a Floating Support Worker to provide flexible, person-centred support across the South West, covering Exeter, Somerset and Dorset. The role involves working across multiple locations, delivering services to individuals experiencing homelessness and complex needs.

The position is permanent, 37.5 hours per week over four days, with a driving licence and willingness to travel required. You'll be part of a dedicated team offering safeguarding, signposting and tailored support.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (business insurance required).
• Willing and able to travel across the South West region.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored, person-centred support to individuals with complex needs.
• Use a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to engagement and progress.
• Assist clients to access services through advice, guidance and signposting.
• Maintain accurate case notes and client records.
• Collaborate with partner agencies to ensure coordinated support and safeguarding.
• Promote independence and positive long-term outcomes for clients.
