Job summary

A floating support worker role is available with Allscreens Nationwide Ltd to provide flexible, person-centred support to individuals across dispersed accommodation in the Harlow and Epping area.

Location is Harlow/Epping with a 35-hour week on a temporary contract that may become permanent. A full UK driving licence and Enhanced DBS are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Support Worker or in a similar role.
• Experience in housing support, social care or supported accommodation.
• Knowledge of support planning, safeguarding and independent living.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, person-centred approach to supporting vulnerable individuals.
• Ability to work independently across dispersed accommodation.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Enhanced DBS is required.

Responsibilities

• Build effective relationships with referral agencies to support new referrals into the service.
• Develop and deliver tailored support and safety plans for service users.
• Maintain regular contact with service users in line with contractual requirements.
• Support individuals to identify and achieve their personal goals.
• Develop independent living skills, including support with domestic tasks and daily living.
• Ensure properties are well maintained and comply with relevant support agreements.
• Support effective rent collection and minimise void periods
• Maintain accurate records and ensure support is delivered in line with service requirements.
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
