Job summary

Lancaster University is seeking an Innovation Fellow in Floating Solar to join the Lancaster Environment Centre. The role focuses on embedding research knowledge into industry practice and coordinating academia–industry partnerships, with tasks including designing knowledge embedding approaches and delivering technical reports.

The successful candidate will work across academia and industry, help plan and deliver reports, and contribute to an inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of knowledge exchange focussed on floating solar impacts on water bodies.
• Experience of water body modelling.
• Motivation and focus to work independently.
• Desire to work in an inclusive and diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Embed research knowledge into industry practice.
• Work across academia and industry to design and experiment knowledge embedding approaches.
• Plan and deliver technical reports.
• Deal with essential routine administrative tasks that ensure a productive academia-industry partnership.
