Job summary

PortmanDentex is seeking a Float Dental Nurse for our Southampton Orthodontic Centre on a fixed-term 6-month basis. You’ll work typical 8.30–5:00 shifts, with a competitive £16.50 per hour rate, across our network of practices in the south.

You will support orthodontic specialists and nurses, with full training provided where needed. We value patient care, teamwork, and professionalism in a modern, nurse-led environment.

Qualifications

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration.
• A positive and empathetic approach, with strong communication skills.
• A team player who thrives on providing great service and building relationships with colleagues and patients.
• Orthodontic experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided.
