Job summary

PortmanDentex is seeking a qualified Dental Nurse for Southsea Orthodontics in Southsea, Hampshire. Flexible hours up to 42.5 per week; shifts from 8.30am to 5.30pm, five days.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate (£13.57 base, £14.20 with Radiography training) and a mixed NHS/private patient base in a modern setting with Specialist Orthodontists and Therapists. Reception duties are part of the role.

Qualifications

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration.
• A caring and empathetic approach with strong communication skills.
• A team player who thrives on providing great service and building relationships with colleagues and patients.
• Orthodontic experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided.

Responsibilities

Are you a qualified Dental Nurse looking for an exciting new opportunity? Are you ready to step into a new challenge in a friendly and modern setting? If so, we’ve got a vacancy at our welcoming Southsea Orthodontics practice in Southsea, Hampshire.

• Full or part-time hours available: up to 42.5 hrs over 5 days
• Typical shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday - 8.30am-5.30pm
• Competitive hourly rate from: £13.57 (£14.20 per hour if Radiography trained)
• Specialist Orthodontic, 4 surgery practice, caring for both NHS and private patients
• Modern and well-equipped surgeries, working alongside Specialist Orthodontists and Therapists
• Opportunity to work independently within ournurse-led clinics, and fully within your scope of practice
• Reception duties required as support
