Job summary

Southampton Orthodontic Centre, part of PortmanDentex, is seeking a qualified Float Dental Nurse for a busy orthodontic practice in Southampton. The role offers an NHS and private patient mix, modern surgeries, and the chance to work alongside specialist orthodontists and therapists in a nurse-led setting.

The successful candidate will hold a recognised Dental Nursing qualification, maintain active GDC registration, and demonstrate empathy, communication skills, and teamwork.

• Typical shifts:Monday to Friday 8.30-5
• Competitive hourly rate from: £16.50
• 6 practices in the south, Chichester, North Baddesley, Lymington, Southampton, Southsea and Waterlooville (depending on the need in the practice)
• Specialist Orthodontic practice,caring for both NHS and private patients
• Modern and well-equippedsurgeries,working alongside Specialist Orthodontists and Therapists
• Opportunity to work independently within ournurse-led clinics, and fully within your scope of practice

About you
