Job summary

Acron Aviation is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer to support the integration, testing and commissioning of advanced flight simulation systems in Crawley. You will report to the Integration & Test Lead and ensure simulators meet customer, regulatory, and performance expectations.

The role requires hands-on engineering skills, practical problem solving, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Shift work and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with electromechanical systems.
• Experience with technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Exposure to formal testing, verification, and validation processes.
• Ability to work under time pressure and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct System Integration Activities across software, hardware and mechanical interfaces.
• Execute Validation & Verification Testing per specs and standards.
• Commissioning and technical issue resolution across electrical, mechanical and software areas.
• Maintain test reports, rework instructions and assembly documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement and Quality teams.
