Arden White Aerospace and Aviation Recruitment is partnering with a leading aviation training and flight simulation organisation in Burgess Hill to recruit a Simulator Engineer, Shift Lead. You will lead hands-on maintenance of Full Flight Simulators, diagnose faults, and guide junior technicians within a 24/7 operation.

Ideal candidates have Boeing/Airbus simulator experience and strong avionics knowledge, with leadership and excellent communication to coordinate crews and instructors.

Qualifications

• Detailed fault-finding principles and corrective maintenance techniques.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic motion and control loading systems.
• Electrical motion and control loading systems knowledge.
• Simulator visual systems understanding.
• Knowledge of simulator hardware, fault finding and repair.
• Experience with simulation software systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and routine maintenance on Full Flight Simulators and related systems.
• Lead in diagnosing and rectifying faults across simulator systems.
• Provide leadership and training to junior technicians.
• Act as shift lead, managing the team and resolving issues.
• Communicate with Flight Crews and Instructor Pilots.
• Record maintenance activities in the MMS and review procedures.
