Job summary

The Boeing Company in Crawley is seeking an Associate Simulation Software Engineer to join the Global Services SW Engineering team supporting Training Solutions. This onsite role develops and tests software that simulates aircraft systems and integrates components into a full software system.

You will work in an agile team, interpreting engineering math and physics into software models, and contribute to qualification of full flight simulators while collaborating with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or higher in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• Strong knowledge of C/C++ principles and practices.
• Ability to translate engineering math and physics into software models.
• Ability to work effectively in an agile development team and with global colleagues.
• Ability to convey complex software concepts clearly in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Generate, analyse, debug, document and test software simulating aircraft systems.
• Integrate software components into a complete functional system.
• Develop and execute test procedures; document test results.
• Develop, select and deploy software processes, tools and metrics.
• Support qualifications of full flight simulators.
• The role may involve other locations and on-site software integration and validation.
