Job summary

Safran Engineering Services UK is seeking a Loads Engineer to join the team for an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. You will perform load calculations for sizing studies of future aircraft and major MODs, including ground and flight loads, aeroelastic analyses and related activities.

The role requires a Mechanical/Aerospace/Structural Engineering degree, strong Python and MATLAB skills, and the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across modules.

Qualifications

• Mechanical/Aerospace/Structural Engineering degree required.
• Strong knowledge of Flight Physics, Flight Loads, Ground Loads, Aeroelastics and Aerodynamics.
• Proficient in Python programming.
• Experience with MATLAB tooling and scripting.
• Able to plan and schedule activities across multiple modules.
• Excellent attention to detail and clear communication.
• Team spirit and ability to work with multicultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct load calculations for sizing studies of aircrafts and major MODs.
• Determine individual component loads and project implications.
• Develop and expand capabilities in UK SAFRAN Engineering Services.
