Job summary

Safran Engineering Services in the UK is seeking a Loads Engineer on a 12-month fixed-term contract to join our expanding team. You will perform load calculations for sizing studies of future aircraft and major MOD projects, starting with component load determinations.

You will work on ground loads, flight loads, aeroelastics, and collaborate across modules, applying Python for coding and MATLAB for tools, with a focus on accuracy, planning, and clear communication in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or aerospace or structural degree required.
• Proficiency in Python is mandatory.
• Experience with flight/ground loads and aeroelastics is favored.

Responsibilities

• Perform load calculations for sizing studies of future aircraft or major MOD projects.
• Determine component loads and scenarios across ground and flight conditions.
