Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL) is seeking an engineer to join its spacecraft AIT team to manufacture harnesses and test cables for various SSTL developments. You will implement harness designs during manufacture to meet electrical, grounding and environmental requirements, liaising with the systems team to resolve issues and provide EVT support.

Qualifications

• Qualifications include a minimum of an HNC/HND in engineering or science or demonstrable hands-on space industry experience.
• ECSS harness certification: ECSS-Q-ST-70-26 and ECSS-Q-ST-70-18 are required or highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manufacture harnesses for spacecraft assemblies.
• Implement harness design during fabrication to meet electrical, grounding and environmental specs.
• Collaborate with spacecraft systems team to resolve issues and anomalies.
• Support overseas activities and travel as needed.
• Provide AIT (assembly, integration & test) support and training.
