Job summary

Matchtech invites applications for an Electronics CAD Technician / Harness Documentation Draughtsperson in the UK aerospace sector. The role focuses on producing controlled electrical and cable/harness drawing packs to enable repeatable manufacture across an expanding fleet.

You will work on harness assembly drawings, pinouts, schedules, BOMs, and participate in revision control and build support. Proficiency in electrical CAD and harness build knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical CAD and harness documentation experience required.
• SolidWorks Electrical (or similar) and strong Excel skills.
• Practical harness build knowledge: crimps/contacts, connectors, shielding, strain relief, labeling.

Responsibilities

• Create controlled electrical and cable/harness drawing packs for repeatable manufacture.
• Produce harness/cable assembly drawings with wire IDs/lengths, routing, shielding, and breakouts.
• Maintain revision/config control (PDM) and support build via ECR/ECN.
