Job summary

Reflex Group in Ossett is seeking an experienced Flexographic Printer to operate a 10-col narrow web servo-driven press. The role involves preparing the press, printing, troubleshooting, and maintaining print quality according to job specs.

You will monitor production speeds, adjust settings to meet targets, and work with the team to minimise downtime while adhering to quality control and safety standards. Shift pattern rotates over three weeks.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to operate or quickly learn flexographic printing machines.
Strong attention to detail and organization.
Experience in Flexographic Printing is desirable.
Familiarity with SEDEX/ETI standards is a plus.
Team-oriented with good communication.

Responsibilities

Ensure all printing tasks are carried out to high standards and maintained.
Operate and maintain production speeds and target times.
Work to reduce downtime and improve methods for quality.
Liaise with the production manager to maximise machine utilisation and minimise wastage.
Work as part of a team and share information.
Follow Quality Control and Quality Assurance in Print Department and maintain records.
Maintain safe working systems to prevent injuries and ensure efficiency.
Promote collaboration within the Print Department through good communication.
